College dropout Scott Valentine
was working at a Charlotte bank in a job he hated. He was in his
early 20s, held a deep fondness for partying and alcoholic
beverages, and didn’t much care for sitting in a cubicle all
day.
“I had been there about three years when I just hit the wall,” said
Valentine. “I said, ‘That’s it, I’m quitting and starting my own
business. I don’t know what it is, but that’s what I’m going to
do.’”
Sounds like a surefire recipe for spending the next few years in
the parents’ basement, right?
If I can own multiple businesses, I'm pretty sure any moron can. Some of them even make money!
Currently I am building several referal websites. Basically I review and recommend companies and get a small commission paid back to me. Since they all pay about the same percentage, I can give my honest opinion on their services. In theory it's a win-win, but we will see.
I'm trying to think of something
clever to put here but I'm really striking out.
Seriously though I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal (within reason).
People need to take care of each other, not expect the government to do it.
